Role

We're seeking a Client Success Manager who can help us turn our clients into raving fans, who stay with us for a long time, and tell ALL their friends about us!

The goal is to support, and guide the clients to success from the moment they sign up with us!

This role gets to wear many hats! Sometimes the role calls for wearing the relationship builder hat, sometimes a tech coach hat, often a business strategy coach hat, and from time to time, a conflict solver hat. Ultimately, we're looking for someone passionate about making an impact in our clients' lives.

Responsibilities

  • In charge of client experience and support end-to-end
  • Increase the lifetime value of the clients, through package upsells, and additional services sales.
  • Help maximize referral business by encouraging clients to refer their friends, and getting every client signed up to our referral partner program
  • Build relationships, and provide value to the clients to help keep client churn low.
  • Encourage clients to give us a testimonial whenever they are having success.
  • Help answer strategy and tech support questions (automation, and software-related issues)
  • Manage ongoing clients
  • Figure out ways to make it easier for our clients to be successful, and make it easier for us to keep delivering great quality service.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of customer service, or client success experience is highly preferred
  • Genuinely warm with people. You know how to motivate, encourage and support a client, and they come off a call better than they went into it. This is the part we cannot train
  • Tech-savvy. You don't need to build automations or troubleshoot them, but you do need to be comfortable in software and quick to pick up a new tool, because you'll be coaching clients through ours
  • Able to explain something technical to somebody who isn't technical, at the level they need it
  • You see second-order consequences. When you suggest a client change something, you think through what else it causes — the fix that solves one problem and creates two others is the one to catch
  • You notice when you don't understand. When a client gives you a vague answer you register that you're lost, and you dig instead of guessing
  • Coachable. You take feedback and change what you do
  • Comfortable asking. Recommending more of our service when it's genuinely right for the client, and asking a happy client for a referral, are both part of this job. This is not a sales role and nobody pushes anything on anyone — but someone uncomfortable asking will quietly not do either
  • Strong experience managing client support
  • Bonus if you know the studio world, dance especially. Knowing what a recital season feels like matters more than it sounds
  • Experience working in a SaaS Marketing Agency is a bonus
